Laboratory Testing in Foods
The value of eating food that is low in the amount of pesticides should be emphasized. Most foods will usually contain one or more pesticides, but the fact is that some foods contain much lower amounts than others or none at all.
Our analytical laboratory randomly samples the foods in our gift boxes and individual products to determine pesticides levels. Different foods show a wide range of variability of pesticide content and we perform batch testing to monitor the foods. For example, the testing of total mercury in fish and seafood is a priority in our laboratory. We select and sell fish which have low levels of mercury, always lower than the level considered safe according to EPA recommendations.
All measurements are made in our analytical laboratory with the same instrumentation used by the EPA laboratory and other acclaimed research universities worldwide.
