Methuselah
Methuselah is the oldest person whose age is mentioned in the Book of Genesis. The name Methuselah has become a general synonym for any living creature of great age. Methuselah lived at the time of the Great Flood which occurred thousands of years before the birth of Christ.
According to the Book of Genesis, Methuselah reached the age of 969 years. Few modern writers speculate that Methuselah's age is recorded in lunar cycles rather than years. If this is true, Methuselah lived to an age of a relatively old person in historical times but that his real age would be close to 75 years.
